AEG Events

The Austin Enhancement Group was originally formed when a group was needed to take over the planning and organization of the Freedom Festival, Austin's 4th of July Celebration. Visit the Freedom Festival website to learn more about this beloved community tradition!

The newest addition to the Austin Enhancement Group's activities is the Highwater Music and Movie Series. 
Named for the high water that can affect the area and the signs indicating the 2004 highwater mark, the concert series would be held at Bandshell Park as a sign of resiliency and community.   The concert series features a different band each night, a local musician as the opener, and family-friendly outdoor movie after the band.  A couple of food trucks rotating through each event provides snack options, and the City of Austin's Rolling Rec provides outdoor activities for the kids.
